![]() The idea went down so well that the very next year we opened three more of them, in Saint-Nicolas, Trois-Rivières and Boucherville. Both were an immediate success and they paved the way for our next new venture, a completely new style of chocolate factory, which we opened in the Neufchâtel district in 2013. ![]() That is when we became one of summer’s most eagerly awaited treats!Įncouraged by our success, we opened our first subsidiary in Quebec Rive-Nord, in the Le Trait-Carré arrondissement of Charlesbourg in 2006, and then another in Cap-Rouge in 2011. In 1996 we moved to a magnificent old mansion in Vieux-Lévis, where we launched a revolutionary new product: ice-cream dipped in real chocolate! The recipe is still exclusive to Chocolats Favoris and it was such a resounding success that it attracted people from all over the region and catapulted our company’s reputation to the very summit of chocolate appreciation. Having started out as simple chocolate makers we have now become master chocolatiers and a recognized leader in the world of chocolate gastronomy. Gradually, as time passed, our craftsmen started to develop more and more products, using European knowledge and expertise as their inspiration for making chocolate that was more to the taste of people here. In those days, just three people worked in the factory, which specialized primarily in making chocolate for the Easter period. We opened our little factory making traditionally crafted chocolate on Rue St-Joseph in Lauzon in 1979, with the aim of creating jobs for members of the family.
